You’ll need wedding vendors for most of your wedding services. If you haven’t helped plan a wedding before, you’ll probably be wondering which you’ll need and how many of them. That’s why we made this post. Here’s a general list of wedding vendors that you’re going to require for your wedding. Your list may vary depending on the theme and vision that you have for your celebration.

Here is a list of wedding vendors that you must consider:

  • A Planner

With the right NZ wedding planner, your wedding planning can be a breeze. They’ll be like your best friends for all things wedding-related.

They’ll also take the stressful part of your wedding planning off your shoulders. If you want to handle most of your planning, you can go for an NZ

Day-of-coordinator instead. They’re less costly and will handle things on your wedding day while you relax and have fun.

  • A Venue

Whether you’re having a big wedding or an elopement, you’re going to need a wedding venue. You can’t plan your wedding without first deciding where you want to hold it. Make sure it’s somewhere you and your partner love.

  • A Photographer and Videographer

You deserve to have the memories of your beautiful wedding preserved. That’s what you’ll need an NZ wedding photographer and an NZ wedding videographer for.

We’ve got you covered when it comes to that here at La Rosa Wedding Photography.

  • Hair and Makeup Professionals

If you want to look amazing on your wedding day, you’ll have to pamper yourself a bit. Your hair and makeup professionals will help you do just that.

Don’t forget to first schedule a trial to see their work prior and choose what works for you.

We want you to have the best look for gorgeous pictures and videos we’ll capture of your day.

  • A Music Vendor

Will you be using a wedding band or a DJ for your celebration? You could even choose to go with a solo artist.

Whichever you decide, please make sure they are excellent and experienced. This is one of the requirements for perfect wedding entertainment.

  • A Florist

You’ll need someone to handle your bouquets, centrepieces and the other floral arrangements you’ll need for your wedding.

That’s where your NZ wedding florist will come in. They could also help with your wedding décor.

  • A Caterer/Cake Baker

One study carried on weddings showed that many people attend for the food. That means if you want happy wedding guests, you need excellent wedding food.

Make sure you get a superb caterer to handle your New Zealand wedding food. They could also make your wedding cake, but you can get a baker for that if not.

  • A Celebrant

Who will pronounce you man and wife at your wedding?

If you haven’t contacted your NZ wedding celebrant already, you should do so soon. They’ll help you when it comes to the legal aspects of your wedding.

  • A Fashion Consultant

Working with a bridal consultant will make your dress shopping easier.

But you could also handle this by yourself and go with your bridesmaids. Remember to keep your wedding theme in mind.

  • A Rental Company

Depending on your NZ wedding venue, you may need to rent chairs, tables, dinnerware, décor, and more.

So be ready to hit up a good NZ wedding rental company to help you handle these. Your wedding venue could also have some referrals.

Please note that you can add or remove the service providers from this vendor’s list, depending on your wedding theme. Best of luck!!!

  1. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. Britni Ab Lemkul
